Confirmation at OLA

WHO? Youth entering the 9th grade are eligible to enroll in the first year of Confirmation.


WHAT? Confirmation is a two-year faith formation journey centered around small group discipleship led by adult volunteers and peer leaders. Youth candidates commit to regular session attendance, yearly retreat experiences, service projects, and active participation in the Sunday 5:00 p.m. Mass. 


WHEN? Sessions are held Sunday afternoons from 3:30 p.m.- 6:00 p.m., which includes Sunday Mass (beginning at 5:00 p.m.) for youth and their families. All sessions are in-person.


WHERE? Youth meet in Mulcahy Center on the OLA Church campus at 3175 Telegraph Rd. in Ventura, CA.


COST? The annual registration fee is $350 and includes the cost of yearly retreats.

Sessions will be held in-person.


Registration for the 2025-26 school year begins July 1st.



A copy of the teen’s baptism certificate must be provided to the Youth Ministry Office.

To be Confirmed, the Youth Ministry Office must have a copy of each teen’s baptism certificate. In addition, the teen must complete a Saint Name Report and Sponsor Contact Information form.
