YLI is an organization of Catholic women dedicated to the Christian principles of charity and love for our Church, community and members. Young Ladies’ Institute was founded in San Francisco in 1887 and organized in Ventura in 1940. Our history reflects a sisterly care and concern for each other and for those in need. Membership includes parishioners from Our Lady of the Assumption (OLA), San Buenaventura Mission, Sacred Heart and St. Thomas Aquinas. Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month at 11:00am in the Santa Cruz Room.
