Growing In Faith Together

Families of Nazareth Movement

A worldwide movement of lay people of all ages, including religious and priests. FNM strives to develop the spiritual life of its members by promoting frequent reception of Holy Eucharist, and participation in Eucharistic Adoration, as we aspire to follow the words of Pope Benedict, "give an example of lives shaped by the Lord's real presence." By living communion of life with Christ through Mary, the members deepen their awareness of Mary's role in the Church as a 'model' and intercessor to the living Christ. Weekly meetings, typically held at local parishes, are offered for the purpose of sharing different experiences of faith and allowing the Holy Spirit, through Mary, to "kindle within us the same ardor experienced by the disciples on the way to Emmaus." The Movement organizes biannual retreats, reflection days, and provides the opportunity for spiritual direction.
